@rveyrand Took me a while to see that you responded, thanks for the help. I finally got to apply it and it looks great. There are still a few little weird things, but 1,000% better than what I had

@Mettleh3ad there is a trick to make it green and translucent.
for the green: you need an RGB mix set on "color", the albedo map as 1st input and a color palette set on green as second input
for the translucent: you need a transparent node; your main shader node (specular) and a mix shader node. main shader node is the 1st input of the mix shader; transparent node is the second input and the albedo color is the factor used in the mix shader.
Note: albedo use as texture coordinate "reflection"

I'm usually pretty good with setting up the textures and materials from this site, but this one has me stumped. Is there a trick to get it to look green/translucent? Thanks!
