@nin10dofan1: The "I broke the rules because I don't know how else to get what I desire" defense is flimsy and selfish. Do you throw your trash on the ground if you don't see a trash can? Or do you be responsible and hold onto your trash until you find a can later?

Also, how can you say the model is the same as the game if you didn't rip it and don't have access to the original? How do you know SAB64 didn't tweak the model sizes, modify the bone structure, optimize polygons, or edit textures when porting the model to MMD? You can't know, and therefore you can't trust the quality.

@NolanSuperman Because I cannot access discord! Also, how did you know I "stole" that model from Deviainart? Second, it's the exact same model as the game! Third, how can I rip models from a game I do not even OWN?! Fourth, because one thing that I am required to use to rip is 3DS MAX which I refuse to use because I am frugal and in my family we spell it as C-H-E-A-P. Do I look like I want to spend over $100 a month for models of video game characters? Requesting and commenting are pretty much all I CAN do!

(Also I'll admit, If it weren't for your comment RandomTalkingBush I would have posted "stolen" models of Kalimba and Xylobone because they are on the box)

@nin10dofan1 Replying to your 8th comment, they rip the models from a ROM that's available online. Though, pretty risky to get the download as you'll have to deal with shady ads that pop-up and it depends if the file is the game itself or a virus someone uploaded.

You know how Donkey Kong Country is coming to Nintendo World? and it is based on DKCR? look at this map:


I just ripped Tiki Tong, but can someone else rip Professor Chops, Mole Miner, and Tiki Buzz? Nintendo World would be the perfect excuse to add more models from this game.

Anyway, why does it seem like I am the only one who wants more models for this game? No one else has submitted anything. And given all the models do not have bones, they have been here a long time, since 2016, all alone. :(

This is not a request. It's a question I hope is answered. Why does this game feel abandoned?

@nin10dofan1 The VG Resource Discord channel is where you can make rip requests. Originally there was a Request thread in The VG Resource forums but it became the latter.

(it is very hard to comment on this lackluster page without coming up with requests. Random Talking Bush, tell me where to request)

@nin10dofan1 Even though I never used GMod (I don't even have a Steam account for that matter) I feel bad for those who used it for their passion with the models imported there is now all gone (though as long someone saved the model downloads and share them through their Drive)

@EedStoneMatt even if they have already been ripped, you can easily rip them yourself. besides, thanks to goshdarn DMCA, the garry's mod team is taking down all nintendo-based models. including those.

they might DMCA us.... D:

Well, I want to get and upload some models of this game, but I don't know how to extract the models since the programs available always crash when trying to convert the cmdl files to .obj.. I'll keep trying. But how did you manage to export donkey kong and diddy kong? I really want more of these ):
