@PeachesCastle This article explains the fundamental similarities and differences: https://www.engadget.com/legend-zelda-breath-wild-npcs-mii-umii-heyimheroic-modding-130508668.html

@pompom454 didn't know Miis are in this game - admittedly haven't played it yet - but that's super cool

@PeachesCastle UMii are the Miis on your Nintendo Switch consoles transported to TOTK and used as NPCs. Yes, they do have a connection, but they aren't a different thing. Just that they are named differently. (tl;dr: Miis are UMiis in TOTK and Miis are Miis in every other thing.)

What is UMii and what, if any, is its connection to Mii (the Wii Sports characters)?

@daemon-404 It would still be great to have the model at least, I think. the totk one with platforms, if at all possible, would be amazing. But just the talus on its own would be cool, too.

@hendolph I just checked, and it seems they don't have textures. They probably draw from environmental textures, so it would be hard to find the exact ones without settling for an incorrect stand-in. If you want, I can do exactly that and upload them somewhere else, like DA

that's a great selection guys. well done! I wonder why the taluses are missing from bosses list (also missing from botw). are they too tricky to rip?

@Fridox additionally sometimes it'll load the wrong uvmap but if you click on the upside down green triangle on your tool bar and then click uvmaps usually there are multiple uvmaps to choose from so just try swapping it to another uvmap and that should fix your problem

@Fridox If you're using blender it will occasionally load the UVs improperly. It's recommended to use the Autodesk FBX Converter and then import the fbx so that the UVs will load properly.

Okay, thank you. My comment was in response to this comment:

“any locations yall want ripped? i can do my best to rip them!“

I’m glad to know that’s allowed, because that would seem to encourage group projects and community. Again, thank you for answering so many of my questions.

@Enoch: If someone explicitly asks for suggestions on what to rip, then it's fine. Don't worry, if a comment is against the rules, we'll take care of it.

@Peardian So am I not allowed to do what I did and answer that question? Like is that a request and against the rules when I’m answering a question where someone wants to know what the other users want?

No, requests are not allowed here. It even says so in the comment box's placeholder text. (Unless someone asks for suggestions, then it's fine.)

And yes, most locations in Hyrule are very difficult—or even impossible—to rip. From what I understand, much of the terrain is assembled using a complex combination of height maps and other tricks, while other things are assembled from lots of small pieces. However, unique buildings and rooms are stored as standalone models that could be ripped the normal way.
