In a certain prototype of Sonic X-treme (Demo 001 and a different demo), there are sprites of sonic running that resemble this model seen here. Apparently these Sprites are from an earlier build of the game from before it was moved to the Saturn, and @MCTravisYT's last post seems to corroborate this.

He sorta looks like he's Classic Sonic turning into Dreamcast Sonic, which makes sense anyways. Interesting for a earlier model

The earliest Sonic model out there. Indeed it looks like a placeholder for a final model but it sorta looks like Dreamcast Sonic if you ask me (minus the giant funnels that come out of Sonic's gloves and shoes). And to mention the crystalized version of Sonic's model sorta looks good for a statue of some sort

This looks pretty good for a 32x game(and yes, I know that the only videos of Sonic Mars are concept art (Who knew that Amigas could make pretty decent models?)

This model makes me vibrate with happiness and excitement. Isn't this one of the earliest if not the earliest (known) model(s) of Sonic? correct me if i'm wrong ^^
