Ok, I dumped the romfs files of the Switch remaster and I noticed some of the .szs files were renamed, though I can't open them with Switch Toolbox or Every File Explorer

SuperBMD is best used for converting models to .BMD, it often mangles the rest pose for any animated model

for future reference: to convert .BMD files to .FBX, use finmodelutilities. it's a program made by meltyplayer (found on github) and it can convert any pikmin 2 model flawlessly.

If you must know, yes. This issue as been solved as I found a plugin for Blender that imports .BMD files so no more SuperBMD. (Not really, it still has uses.)

Anyone know why some of the models don't import properly in Blender?

The top image is the model in 3DS Max and works fine but it can never import properly in Blender (lower image).
I've been using SuperBMD to convert the models and many have worked fine but a few from this game don't

Looking 2 submissions I sent, it's interesting how they had to pose them. The way the Emperor bulblax's tongue sticks out of the face when rendering was an interesting sight

@Cromslor you said you need help converting the models to .obj files [although the model's resource also accepts them in collada .dae], have you tried using noesis or blender to convert the models? You'll also want someone to test a couple of them before submitting the whole bunch. Feel free to ask me anything.

I actually have most of the models for this game. Its just that I would need help converting them into actual .obj files.
