Nah I think one of the staff said that because Splatoon 3 uses a different rigging format, they've uploaded the models as .OBJs until they can update the .BFRES importer can be updated to support the new rigging |

The textures are unaltered. If something looks a bit off, it's more likely that the game uses a slightly different shader for that part. |

i'm shocked to hear that this person doesn't have the patience for models to be uploaded or assume things are going very slow when reality the staff of this site are sorting through models that are que'd up, waiting to be ready for use. I'm just waiting until the whole game is ripped, locations and all. I appreciate the work they're putting in to give us all these models, so please be grateful for their effort.. otherwise we wouldn't have these ripped in the first place. x.x |

@SlushyMushy I think it's still separate face models. The model animations in the news room as well as the Hero Mode looked jerky enough to look like models being swapped rapidly. And they also have different mouth models in the rips as I've seen from messing around in Blender. Ah well, they improved on the eyes at least. |

It's possibly because of one of these 3 theories I have. 1: Possibly to promote Rabbids Go Home as it was coming out the same year. 2: They made a Rabbid as a joke character and it would take up less time and resources to make Rabbid reskins (Even if they play differently) than to add more unique and popular TMNT characters to fill the roster. Or 3: It was a cheap and shameless business decision on Ubisoft's part to promote the Rabbids (and perhaps Rayman and Splinter Cell) brand as a whole. It still sucks though. This game is pretty dire for something made to "celebrate" 25 years of TMNT. |

I'm pretty sure the person who ripped this uses a 3DS Max plugin that doesnt support splatoon 3 rigs, you can rip the models with rigs yourself with switch toolbox |
