As a Re-entry vehicle I can only see the model suffering a lot. The front wing/ gladius would be streaming hot plasma onto the leading edge of the main wings which sounds like a recipe for disaster. The engines are all well protected from re-entry heating though.
Presumably something covers the blooper eyes on the way up to orbit. Some sort of panel that jettisons when high enough. So I won't bother saying it messes with the aerodynamics. It has a lot of engines which are surprisingly well placed along the centre of mass for a speculative shuttle, but overall its still quite off balance. I don't see a rig for the engines to swivel around to correct for that, Which is an absolute necessity on shuttles as otherwise they fall out of alignment as the fuel drains, resulting in head over heels spinning.
Also the sheer number of engines and their scale relative to the craft is kind of silly. It adds to the blooper aesthetic of course but there just isn't enough room for fuel in front of them. The massive blooper eye machines are already cutting out half the payload bay space.
Overall its a really cute and cool design that fits in perfectly with the track, but as a realistic machine it falls short. There really only is one functional space shuttle design that "works" within the design parameters. Its why the Soviet shuttle looked so similar to the American one, even though they had very different development cycles.
Would it be able to move in space though? absolutely, assuming different engines can be turned on or off as well as the rcs nozzles at the front you would have a manoeuvrable machine. The rcs nozzles at the back just seem excessive, this thing could spin itself around very quickly.
I am not an expert on the topics, but I hope that answers your questions.

I meant as a genuine space shuttle.

I don't see why not, well unless you mean as a genuine space shuttle.
