Here is a jam-packed update to end off the 2010s! I should mention that there are quite a few minor spoilers for Pokémon Sword & Shield here. If you want to avoid seeing new Pokémon and characters that weren't shown in trailers, I recommend you avoid scrolling too far.

Huge thanks goes to Centrixe for contributing a major portion of this update, including stuff from the latest Smash Ultimate DLC. Special thanks also goes to Ziella and the rest of the staff for the new Pokémon models.

Of course, there are plenty of other great models here! If you love space ships, check out the hundreds of models from Colony Wars: Red Sun. Other highlights include Miitopia, Phantom Hourglass, Mario Party, and Splatoon 2. Be sure to check out the shiny new custom models as well!

The end of the year is fast approaching, yet there are more than 2400 submissions waiting to be checked. I understand that most of you have already been waiting for many months, and I thank you all for your continued patience. If it weren't for auto-approval and the other staff, most of these shiny new models would still be waiting on me for months. Models are much more complicated than flat images and can have numerous possible problems that can be difficult to notice, so it takes extra time to ensure the quality of each one. As we head into 2020, we will continue to strive for a future that is free from missing textures and broken rigs, with formats that everyone can use.

Happy holidays, and enjoy!

A possible way to implement a 3d-viewer might be the API from Sketchfab, but that requires a seperated upload to Sketchfab itself as far as i know :/

I wish I could offer help with Lego Island but sadly I do not own the game so I have no way to actually obtain the files and figure out how to properly extract them.

@Petie: Thanks for that my friend, like I said I never actually blame you guys. You all do great work and I can't thank all of you enough for TVGR I've been coming to this site since 04 and I will be back for life.

@ninetalescommander Oh I fully get ya, the only thing I want is the textures of the faces from Lego Island and seeing as it and The Lion King were the biggest reason Direct X system I would need a lot of tutoring to grab. I really never am asking for anything though, I just look forward to what is new. Any help looking into the Lego Island stuff would be great if you wouldn't mind being a mentor (I'd grab the stuff I just need help finding the stuff to learn it if you take my meaning.)

As a maker (Wood work and resin models) I know the value of the adage "See a need, fill a need" as I have made my own clamps and am looking into making Silicone molds with Caulk and thinners for castings. Improvise and learn how to be on the ball, don't be a "Give me Gus" I hope that makes sense and know I fully agree, you never know what is open to you if you yourself don't try.

@Plokman
To be honest, it was for this reason that I got heavily invested into uploading models. After doing the research and the know-how, I realized a lot of the stuff I was asking for I actually had the ability to do myself.
Obviously it's up to you but if I may offer some advice; When you want something but are waiting on others, look into it yourself and you may be surprised with how much you're capable of.

For reference, you can save yourself some frustration by learning our update schedule. tSR updates every Saturday and the rest update the first Saturday of every month.

Well all I can say is I deeply appreciate all of the VG Resource staff's work and the quality you bring with each update. I will be the first to admit under my breath every time I check for a update and it is still the same update for weeks, I do get a tad miffed. I may say "Come on already!" but I never post about it because well I know this is a intensive job and I am sure all of you have jobs beyond it. Let us face it not everyone has free time all the time like me, (Even if I am working on a small business of a props and figurines shop it still is my free time not a full fledged job)

I want to make up for my unspoken anger by wishing you all Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and I hope as a good friend put it from my DnD group "May the last month of 2019 be the plot twist you have been waiting for."

We looked into it but there wasn't a practical way to implement it, especially without Flash.

Would it be possible to implement a 3d viewer?

Nah man the people that complain are also the people who don't even read the front page, they've only got their pet game page bookmarked and check it daily and skitter to the forums to whine once a week. [/s]
