well, um. turns out tmr has a 250mb cap on model uploads, which i have already managed to hit... and i havent even gotten to the BIG models yet. the fixer, the mech suit... right now their armatures are broken anyway but i may have to split the format uploads up, with textures on their own. they're that big.

emperor nefarious is 269,000 tris
also, i think 800k areas had probably been reached in the ps4 era, on ps5 i'd estimate over 3 million

I wouldn't be surprised if the next 10th generation console will have games with 250,000 Polygon character models, and over 750-800K Polygons for an entire game area. Technology is evolving.

to be fair, there are some last-gen models that come close
this guy in Resident Evil 7-123,000 tris, complete with a full naked body
