^Yeah, I feel you. Basically, everything is fine except his face; it seems that each and every expression has it's own mesh, and on top of that, there are 4 different kinds of mesh objects that make up one expression. I spent the better part of yesterday trying to combine them by the way of shape keys, but I gave up after I realized that the vertex count was different for some "expression" objects.
Finally got everything cleaned up today. For the face I just used a "normal" expression and deleted all others. Not too hard after you fihure out what is what. The texture colors also seemed a bit wonky to me, so I cleared up those as well.
