i dont think ive ever seen a 3d model with vertex colors in them already, i had to improvise with my super mario 64 in moola's green hill zone fusion collab (direct link to where the logo gets shown:

Mario Galaxy and Mario galaxy 2 used vertex colors to simulate effects like ambient occlusion in level geometry. You'll notice extra edge loops around the creases of geometry in both games models.

@SiliconGraphicsFan Actually, that's just how the models looks. I'm not sure why it looks so much more vibrant in-game, either, but that's how the model looks; no shaders applied.

Why does it look so... SM64 DS? Could've sworn in SMG2 it was more vibrant. (I'm aware it's probably just the thumbnail lol)
