@Ziella So clamping and "texture mirroring" like this basically go hand in hand?

@Centrixe Clamping is pretty much when the model extends the last pixel if the UV's go past the texture area instead of repeating the texture. A lot of Nintendo games use it. Kinda hard to explain without a visual demonstration though.

@iChibi Elaborate please? I'm probably mistaken about texture mirroring, after dealing with it for the past few years.

The textures are simply supposed to be mirrored, which is something that practically any 3D modeling program is capable of. Nintendo uses texture mirroring in the majority of their games too. Don't know how this "clamping" business came about.

The textures in game are are set up to "clamp" to the last pixel of each corner. Most 3d modeling programs we have access to don't support texture clamping and instead just loop, so that's why he looks incredible creepy.
