This has been a few years in the works as I always procrastinated uploading these Mobius FF Model Assets. These are the raw bundles, so you'll need AssetStudio to rip them. These were downloaded from the Japanese version a few weeks before shutdown so hopefully nothing is missing. (They aren't zipped by default due to how long they were taking when I was zipping them and I couldn't be bothered to wait for them)

Dude, can you get the Balamb garden scenes from the JP version? That would be an massive help to the FF8 modding team

The accessories don't have the typical rigging, but to simply keep the rigging that UnityStudio already exports, just import the dae exported with Noesis into Blender and select everything and use export it to dae with these settings, or you could just leave the original FBX that UnityStudio exported and Noesis converted dae in your submission.

Aha! thank you. Got myself the new Cait Sith accessory. Same moogle toy thing from FF7 :D No idea how to rig things but i'll upload a few soon

Alright i'll give it a go. I think they come rigged, not too sure. The work i do in Blender is very different to most people. So im not entirely sure how to use it.But i do wanna try give back a little as i do use quite a lot of models you have provided here

I've got her too, but her hair won't cooperate for an icon render.

You don't have to follow exactly how I upload them, you must include a DAE or OBJ preferably a rigged dae since it's ez pz with MobiusFF and split the mask texture (_M01), and for splitting the textures is simple, just drag and drop them into Texture Remix's box as such Posted Image set an output folder (Browse button in the bottom right) and click the circled button, you can just click the C+A button for the normal map.

If texture remix doesn't work for you or you still can't figure it out, try using XnView or XnConvert they should have an option to "Extract Channel" make sure to deselect the "Delete Original" option in the output settings for XnConvert.

Awesome, thanks i'll check that out. I did manage to get Meia's Aerith job but i'm not sure how to get them the same way you have them online here. I figure if im going to contribute in any way i should make it the same style. I got the model easy but i didnt quite understand the texture stuff. I have them.. but that separation thingy confuses me.

It's been quite awhile since I've checked, but I think the GUI stuff is in the "CAB-Resident" file there are quite a few of these I believe, font might be in there too. There's also some stuff in mobiusff_Data > StreamingAssets > mobius_data_win_Gui_System but there isn't much.

The Dragon Quest enemies along with the DQ warrior job have been in the US version's files since October 2017, Square confirmed the west will not be getting the event awhile back sadly.

@Tusnamods Mobius Final Fantasy is a Unity Game, so follow my UnityStudio Tutorial and as seen below, here's a Short Guide of where to find the models in the Mobius FF Files.

How are people doing this? I would love to learn. I'm making a mod for Final Fantasy 7 named Echo-S and i am replacing all 3d models with better versions. I got a few from here. After playing the new expansion i would love to be able to get things like areas, sound effects, even the textures for the likes of the text box and the materia.

@riccochet I do not have the JP version files, and they aren't in the Global files they sometimes hide some juicy stuff usually for upcoming events.
