iirc HP was using UE1 back when vertex animation was the norm and bone animation wasn't used/frequent.
After the release of Rune, UE1 (1.5?) started supporting bone animation.

@Ion Cutscene images are textures, the others are extremely simple models with simple textures on them.

Please post all wizard cards, portraits, and cutscene images (like the brown tinted one at the very beginning of the first game) for all three games.

Fun fact: This game cannot be played on Windows 10 without modding.

Getcha act together, EA, and rerelease the classics!
(Preferably the PS1 and PS2 versions while you're at it...)

Can you possibly rip the students too? i tried extracting them through unreal but the textures are messed up and i can't fix the uv.

I don't think this is the only source I saw, but "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" is listed on this chart with a white background, which I assume means neither compatible nor incompatible (also mentions that animations can't be ripped from it):

yeh mainly because animations from the first 2 games dont extract, maps are in a different folder and arent .psk, they arent models they are unreal compiles (.unr) maps. exporting maps is possible but the method i use isnt that good. i dont think umodel can export .unr files anyhow.

the only other error with extracting models from harry potter 1 and 2 is you often get joints with the same name that crash on export, though ive found a way to fix it. the basilisk model is nearly impossible to extract due to majority of joints being attached to a joint with the same name as another parent as the program i use doesnt abilitise me to push them out.

3rd game is pretty much perfect for extracting models with animation fbx. though transformation files dont. (.3d)

I used Umodel. I don't recall seeing map models.

However, I recall the Umodel developers commenting that support for the first two Harry Potter games is still a work in progress.

I ripped a couple from this game myself. I'm not sure how to rip maps, however, so if you could do that, that'd probably be helpful.
