@A Smurf: It depends on how many other models submissions there are and when they were submitted. Lucky for you, the Splatoon 3 models are at the top of the list, so it shouldn't be long before they get processed.

Anyone know how long models are pending? I'm looking for some weapon rips that are currently pending

Yea I can't find anywhere how to use squidnodes, I understand that it makes shading the characters much easier but I am not sure where to place each. Edit: I'm dumb, I think I know now but if there is a guide out there that would still be handy.

@azazelmao That salmon actually pops out during the death animation, but it's kinda hard to see from all the effects and everything - image from toolbox here.

i made some custom textures for mine, I can find a file that has him and share it, if you'd like (I only did it for the classic hair, though)

it's less of a "solution" and more juts an easier work-around, but it get's the job done well enough for me lol

@OsFortyTwo Heya! Squidnodes creator here. As Ryen said, the QuickHair shader is only designed for the standard tentacle materials, not the fur materials. However, I'm pretty close to cracking the fuzz shaders, so that'll probably form part of the next Squidnodes update. Hope that helped :D

@OsFortyTwo the "quickhair" means the default tentacle hair that octolings/inklings have, not the "fuzzy hair" that the fuzzy octarians/octolings have have.
The way I've found to at least get the layering is using POM nodes (which also I'd recommend using external nodes, as blender doesn't natively support it without a lot of nodes...). I'd recommend looking at the way I set it up on Spoiler:Mr. Grizz (with a combination of Jasper's stuff) for ideas/a base to work on. Just ignore the multimask stuff, as that's exclusive to that model unless there's some vertex coloring, in which case use that instead of the multimask stuff.

I'm rather surprised if the Rival Octolings are as described in these comments, since in prior games they use a variant of the Inkling girl model with their own kit. I'll take a snoop in toolbox.
Regardless, I think the additions are enough to warrant being uploaded.

Made me wish that someone created a Blender add-on that can easily convert Splatoon 3's shader files (Like the fuzzy ooze shader) and whatnot to a bunch of nodes, that'll get rid of the painful hours.

Will we get the clothing models riped from sp3 so we don't have to use and edit the sp2 models
