On that same note, models are more than just the polygons and texturing. New effects such as Dynamax require new bones to control those effects. If you compare the bone structure of this Caterpie with the one from XY, you'll see that this model has a lot of new "effect" bones added.

Noone seems to realize that they're *supposed* to use the same models, as that was what they're made for ever since XY. Animation re-usage is what's the bigger problem.

@TheGoldNinja10: Apparently there's two polygons more than the 3DS model (from 4364 to 4366), so there is at least a
slight
change with its model there.

cant say for certain, but a quick comparison in blender shows that this model seems to be the the same as the 3DS model... oh boy...

the difference with the N3DS changed their textures, and I think they put some volume in their eyes
