I wonder how high the polygon count averages on these? like, genuinely, what's the average on these pincushions? what's the lowest/highest, and which models have them? might be good for some sort of perspective

They're intentionally stylized and exaggerated for their features to be visible from top-down on the DS' fuzzy little screen.

@JetTheFox96 Making models (or any art) is not just about how much time is spent on it. If a novice artist with a poor understanding of Sonic's design spends weeks on a model, the model could still look bad. Meanwhile, an experienced artist who is familiar with Sonic's design could make a better model in a day or less.

What's bashes me the most is people dont take some time to realize how long it takes to make something look good. What you're telling me is that these people dont care about how much time is takes to make a model for a game

@Dragonick: Agreed.

@JetTheFox96: First of all, people have opinions. Second, some people don't know how to edit models, and "editing a model" can sometimes be easier said than done. And third, regardless of how these models look, anyone (like myself and others) can have an opinion on any kind model.

Why do people care what models look like? THEYRE JUST MODELS!! Have you heard of editing btw. I suggest you edit these models so they dont look as "weird"
