@Lucario2023 I believe his design was meant to be a fusion of Bowser and Wart, since the Super Show was based on both SMB1 and SMB2.

I remember his classic look design in Super Mario Bros. TV Show of King Koopa as one of my fondest memories from past of my childhood.

I always liked King Koopa as a kid, had an almost (NOT WEIRD) attraction to him
I think it was his voice, really suited him (RIP Harvey Atkin)
