little details unseen on the render:
-the container has retractable treads, being loadable and unloadable without the need of a crane.
-the truck's trailer has a deployable ramp at its rear, and the trailer is technically a flatbed.

the container is empty inside by the way, feel free to put whatever you want inside

and Bryce. There are other 3D programs that can open .dae files, too.

Yeah, PS2 version was just Wii version without the fancy graphics as well, like Sonic was flat, game had no bloom and most confusingly... no quill animations for Sonic when he's running/boosting... like Wii had.

This game actually uses the Unreal Engine, but knowing Ubisoft, it's all encrypted files Umodel or any other program can't view. So getting anybody rigged won't be possible currently.

There are two types of FBX files, one is ASCII and other is binary. Blender doesn't import ASCII files, that's probably your problem. You can use Autodesk (the company that owns the license of FBX format, since FBX stand for "FILMBOX" an old animation application which Autodesk owns yada yada yada) FBX Converter, which is an official tool for the format. It can convert between ASCII and binary.
