@jcactus Please, don’t do that. Use a MixRGB and put the TCL into the Fac and put the ALB into color 1 then set the color you want in color 2. @IntoTheLight take the TCL texture and plug it into the subsurface input(?), then change the color with subsurface color! This should work I'm new to blender, too, but is relatively simple once you learn it! |

For those wondering how the PBR maps in this game are formatted (Edited 1/13/2024 to correct some info based on a new finding): Red - Ambient Occlusion Green - Roughness Blue - Emissive It turns out there's no metallic maps, and the roughness maps technically don't get used in-game as the master material for the characters is set to have full roughness. I would assume that since the emissive map is grayscale, it's used alongside the base color map with some exceptions (such as Daylon's swords). Hope this helps! |

The Sonic Championship rips we used to have on the site were removed because they were heavily modified and inaccurate, and used textures that weren't even from said game (including some from Sonic Adventure DX). |

The animations can be extracted as .smd from the .bfres with the Switch-Toolbox (Github: KillzXGaming/Switch-Toolbox). The .smd can then be imported to the armature in blender. |

@Releasius I'm actually pretty sure Paper Jam uses a new Mario model, though I haven't gone in to confirm this hypothesis. The textures are completely different (Paper Jam having more detailed textures,) Mario's arms seem to be slightly longer, and he generally seems to have less polygons. |

Sonic X-Treme is such a weird case of a cancelled game. Really makes me wonder how different the Sonic franchise would be if this came out instead of Sonic Adventure. If it wasn't for this game's cancellation, would the modern era of Sonic ever even exist? |

Cool! I'm new to blender so I can't really experiment and fiddle with things until they work like most people probably can. I also noticed that the hair physics are different with splat 3 models. I use the wigglebones add on for the hair and the splat 3 hair seems stiffer and heavier even with the same settings as splat 2 hair. It works fine with other characters like Shiver. idk why it would be different. |

@MrCoolJelly all the maps and stuff (besides the normal maps) work the exact same. although moving into the new game, i would recommend you use squidnodes. someone here mentioned it before but i think everybody should use this. literally makes the entire thing super easy and it even has a node for fixing the normal maps |
