Most of the models I've ripped myself have perfectly good skeletons and the only part that relies on the morphers is the face, usually just the mouth. I think there's merit in including the skeleton itself even if that part can't be ripped yet, as that makes the rip far more useful than just foregoing the entire rig. Some people just want to make simple pose renders and don't need the complex face control (or can manually do that part) |

These textures/Materials Work as cubemaps. So the object is Just a Window to Look around inside that Texture If IT makes sense. I Set the Texture coordinate Input to "reflection" and the "linear" setting in the Texture to "spherical" That habe me the Output you See in the Preview Images |

@Jasper7438 I'm a new player of this game since last week (coinciding shortly after the Xbox Series X|S release (5.2 version) since 11/20/2024, but playing the PC version), and now I've gained some interest in extracting/ripping both 2D sprites and 3D models. Can you get me the tutorial as well (it's gotta work for both 2D and 3D assets, but I'll focus on the 2D stuff since they're considerably easier to work with)? I have some ripping experience since I've previously submitted 2D assets for several Nintendo published Nintendo Switch games running on the Unity or Unreal engines. |

looking at the texture used; so, originally different segments of these images were different 64x32 images. the ripper supplied those images, but they are not used in the obj. instead the ripper attempted to compile those images into a single 1MB 1024x1024 image (with really bad use of wide margins, wasting precious texture space! and causing visible edges). the scene model is comprised of an object with 4 flat squares comprised of like 20 separate meshes each, totalling exactly 256 polygons, or 0.25 MB so the entire scene costs 1.25MB of RAM on a system that had a default RAM of 4MB, 1KB of which was used for system overhead. Not counting collision geometry. I'm guessing it was around 1.5MB total without characters and props. Honestly, this space was a poor use of memory. 256 polygons? you can do alot more with that! infact you might be able to have basic outlines of the visible elements with that, then they would have saved on memory for collision bounds. It might be useful to make a better composite image without wasted texture space. if I make modifications I may upload a revision. I made revisions to the texture and will upload it on the original model. I made a 4 quad model to test it on and it worked well, however on N64 I think the problem they ran into was that the maximum texture size was 64x32 and the system only allowed tris not quads this resulted in the 256 poly object. |

So the devs might have encrypted the files at some point and I currently can't access most of them, I tried extracting with AssetStudio and can't get anything so there may not be any updates for a while EDIT: someone found a way, it's version 2022.3.54f1. Type that as the Unity version on AssetStudio and you can export models |
