I don't mind that they got rid of the grainy fur and replaced it with straight up blue. Love the model but I always thought the grain was weird. Really my only complaints with it are how the eyes don't move with the Gens animations and the Light Speed Shoes' orbs being slightly squished. |

@traumatizedgeworth maybe not the original version, but Doom had actually several ports and remasters, so maybe any modern ports used real 3D models? |

they made the grainy blue fur texture to just plain old blue, it does somewhat look like the uekawa reference sheet for the models with the solid colors tho |

low poly santiago, this is the closest jam model we can publicly get BCS the saturn one is still pending, I would prob just make the blue slight more of a darker blue to make it more sonic-like ig, either way, I love this |

@LightSpeed: Compared those too, and yeah, they were reshaped (top and middle quills specifically, but also the side ones slightly). I'll work on getting the updated models for both Sonics up here soon enough. (EDIT: After another model comparison, it looks like they shaped his quills to be on par with his appearance in Sonic Superstars. The topology isn't a complete match, but it's pretty close!) |
