Please don't tell me i'm the only dumbass who thought those red spots on her cheeks in the original game were actually her eyes

I always thought her(?) hair was a nose. I still can't see it as anything else, but a nose.

Yes, it should be pretty easy to get the same effect in Blender or any program. The model has "outline" meshes which are essentially inside-out, so you can see Vivian in front of the outline when backface culling is enabled. I included some extra solid-color textures in the zip that give her a cartoon look. All you need to do is show the outlines, use those solid textures, and put in an ambient light.

aight same problem in 3ds max but no worries I was more curious about this model anyway, I'll use it someday but for now I should be working on my current project with pikachu anyhow really should stop slacking off on that. hope to actually contribute to this website someday. rather than just download models for animation projects.

Thanks for the answers, guess It's my fault for relying on blender, i'll try it in 3ds max like how I had to get meta ridley from prime 1 through it shame I couldn't find the rig for the guy the cube's model of him has better textures. oh well. Thanks for all the help and good luck with the indexing.

It sounds like the program you're using isn't properly loading the position of the meshes. This is one of my older models, so I didn't center the axis of the meshes. The program then tries to load the meshes at the center of the scene instead of their intended offset. The best solution for this is for me to update the model. Until then, though, you may have to use another program to load and re-export it.

Wow I didn't expect You, one of the royals of this website to answer thank you so much I can only imagine how busy you are with the unprecidented amount of models you have to process right now. Thanks for answering my question. I just have one one thing to ask about this. where is the non outlined body? when i open up this model the non outline pieces are all scrunched to the bottom, and the body is nowhere to be found. how would you recommend lining them up, I tried using the outline mesh as a guide but it wasn't quite right. sorry to bug you.

If you're referring to the outline meshes, those are for if you want to have the cartoony outline effect. The normals of those polygons face inwards, so certain rendering engines will show the real model inside and only show the outlines around the edges. If you're not a fan of the outline effect, you can simply remove those meshes.
If you're referring to the hair, the direction of Vivian's curl changes depending on which way she is facing in the game, so it's hard to say what the "true" direction of it is supposed to be. I made a mesh for each direction so that people can swap between them as they please.

Hey I hate to be that guy but how do you structure this model I don't understand how you have it set up. I'm kinda a newbie that way, and don't get why this thing seems to have duplicate parts
